Kripple Creek Restaurant is sponsoring the event, along with Budweiser and KCLV 99.1. KCLV will be broadcasting live at the event.

Mark Kelley released his sophmore CD, 'Tiil I Get Home in December, 2008, but it is really a child of the new year. Mark will be playing most of the new album, and some even newer material to wrap up the show. He's also got all the songs from the self-titled first album to choose from.

And since it's Kripple Creek, you know he'll do County Road 1-8. All the regulars, and anyone lively enough to join in, gets to let out some “hoots and hollers”.

Mark's official website is markkelley.webs.com. There's a video of Mark doing County Road 1-8 at Kripple Creek from last month to check out as well. Mark Kelley has slowly been building a following among Clovis, New Mexico residents. He plays his unique brand of country music regularly on Friday nights at Kripple Creek Restaurant, where locals have begun appreciating live music again. Clovis is one step closer to claiming it's heritage in the music business with another one of their own.

Gary Gorence will also play a two hour set at the party. Gary is another Blues Farm Records artist. He lives and plays mostly in the Santa Fe, New Mexico area. Unlike Mark Kelley, Gary Gorence plays classic rock-n-roll with a blues influence. Gary will be available for CD signing as well as Mark. Gary's first CD Desert Trippin' can be picked up at Gary Gorence's official website: garygorence.webs.com.

The show will open with local talent, Keeson Bell.

Kripple Creek's entire menu will be available. KCLV, Blues Farm Records, and Budweiser will be on hand all night. You can find all these artists and more on the official Blues Farm Records website: bluesfarm.webs.com.

Blues Farm Records Releases Mark Kelley's Powerful Second CD, 'Til I Get Home

 – Clovis, NM – November 20, 2008 – Mark Kelley's second album, 'Til I Get Home, will be available from Blues Farm Records, http://bluesfarm.webs.com, on December 6, 2008.

So here he is, Mark Kelley. Raw, fresh, and completely original. A true, country-first artist that fuses and layers any other influences, bending them like a Sycamore stick. You blues, you r & b, you rock, ya'll get in here and mind your country manners.

And so they do. 'Til I Get Home is a song by song journey of amazement and pleasure. It's filled with country grooves that make your head bob and even get your foot tappin'. It only takes a few songs, and one has to ask if they prefer the bland commercialized, same sound, song after song albums that slick producers manufacture for major label artists. 'Til I Get Home breathes with fresh textures and emotion at every turn. Stunning guitar tones, both acoustic and electric. Solo guitar work that is completely country, while being infused with all the other elements of American music. For a good example just see the first 20 seconds of the album, and the intro to the title track.

Sing along anthems like Don't Break My Heart Again (The Whiskey Song), Breakdown country jams like the Gitfiddle Song, stunning classic country songs such as Time, and of course, the rousing, stomping wonder that is County Road 18.

Every song is a turn in the bend, which makes the album listenable, from start to finish. The CD has 11 songs, and each one is written with a southwestern feel that can only come from time spent in the desert, or out on the plains. Sansietch, who plays so many roles on this album, makes his home outside of Clovis, New Mexico, where you can find him performing acoustic sets in cafes and at local businesses and eateries.

Mark Kelley's self-titled debut CD was the same really. It comes down to a matter of growth. 'Til I Get Home is a sophomore effort that is a true looking glass. Mark Kelley makes a statement that he knows how he wants his music to sound. The singing on this album is just that, singing. If you like to listen to singers, you'll enjoy the complete uniqueness of Mark Kelley's voice. And the listener gets lured in from the very first song.

The imagery in the lyric, “ Daddy's out front with a beer and a cigarette, me and my brother in the yard, having fights with some sycamore sticks.” It's country in that it's about “downhome” things, but comparisons with other contemporary songs illustrate the difference. Mark Kelley's songs have a true heartfelt emotion. One doesn't think Daddy used to drink a lot when they hear the lyric above sung. They think, I sure do miss my dad.

Fans can order the new CD from just about anywhere, including the Official Mark Kelley website, http://markkelley.webs.com. The website is loaded with pictures and fans can find out where Mark's playing next.

 – Clovis, NM – May 23, 2008 – Blues Farm Records will start its summer concert series tonight at the Do Drop In. On Avenue A in Portales, the Do Drop In has begun offering acoustic shows out back in the patio area. There is no cover charge for the shows and they have great sandwiches, desserts and drinks.

Blues Farm Records' artist Sansietch, widely known for his improvisational rock music, also has several albums of acoustic music, including Acoustic River and Fields Of Glory. Both CDs are out of print as of this writing, but the indie label has told us some remixing and mastering, as well as some re-recording, will see both CDs available again by July 2008. Sansietch is scheduled to kick off the show, which begins at 7 p.m., and perform at least a full hour of his original music.

Mark Kelley has recently released his debut CD on Blues Farm Records. The CD is available on his website, http://markkelley.webs.com, as well as the label website, http://bluesfarm.webs.com. Expected is a mixture of material from the self-titled CD as well as both new and old songs. Mark will also perform over an hour of original material, something Blues Farm Records is known for on its albums. Rumor also has it the two will perform several songs together as well.

Blues Farm Records has recently signed several indie artists and says it is committed to giving its fans a wide variety of good music. Look for Gary Gorence of Santa Fe to release a debut CD soon, and the label has said it may try to bring a show with all its artists together later this summer. Whether that would happen around Clovis or Santa Fe is not yet clear.

Mark Kelley's Self-titled Debut CD To Hit Clovis Radio

 – Clovis, NM – September 9, 2008 – Mark Kelley's self-titled debut CD, which was released in Spring 2008, will be the focus for the September 12, 2008 KCLV 99.1 FM morning in-studio interview.

Kelley, a Blues Farm Records indie artist, has been a one man show for some time, but not all the time. In his spare time he plays live with Sansietch and other local musicians.

The label, Blues Farm Records, referred to as the little label that could, is a native of New Mexico. Based in Clovis, BFR specializes in a southwestern style of music that is mixed with elements of rock, country, blues and more. Other artists with the label are Sansietch and Gary Gorence.

The CD has 14 songs, and from the moment the supercharged guitar picks up on Is It Enough, you are keenly aware that it's more than just plain old country music. The undeniable twang and growl of Mark Kelley's southern drawl is just what the bartender ordered. It is the raw, grounding force throughout the Album. Sansietch's lead guitar work is recognizably signature, and once you hear it, you’ll know it’s him every time.

Mark Kelley, The Country, is the artist's official website,
http://markkelley.webs.com, and of course, there's the Blues Farm Records label website: http://bluesfarm.webs.com

All loaded with tidbits for fans, and devoted to music enthusiasts. You can sample the new songs, and they are available for individual download via Amazon.com, and at these websites.

Mark Kelley fans will want to hear the artist sing and play the new hit, What A Beautiful Night, but the question is what cuts from the CD will he play. The CD is a trove of limitless jewels, such as the wrenching It Don't Make The Man, and She's Everything, an ode to Mark's Fiancée, Amy. The grumbling bass lines that drive one through the New Mexico anthem, Home, and the stomping country beat of I Don't Give A Damn, are testament to the blending of rich, diverse styles.

Blues Farm Records' artist Mark Kelley, widely known for his high octane country music has recently been featured on local Clovis and Portales radio station KCLV 99.1 FM with his hit What A Beautiful Night and in on air interviews and performances.  – Clovis, NM – May 10, 2008 – A stomping country album release. Mark Kelley's self-titled debut CD is available May 10, 2008. Blues Farm Records indie label has been a one man show for some time, but with the addition of country artist Mark Kelley, the label is poised to grow. Mark Kelley costs just $15.99, and it comes with the Blues Farm Records staple, over an hours worth of good music.

With an extensive online presence, the best thing about Mark Kelley is the official website, http://www.markkelley.webs.com, and of course, there's the Blues Farm Records label website... all loaded with tidbits for fans, and devoted to music enthusiasts. You can sample some of the new songs, and they expect to have them available for individual download via Amazon.com very soon.

The album boasts some of the southwests' new music geniuses. The trio, including Sansietch himself, recorded the tracks at Blues Farm and several mobile location around New Mexico.

The CD is issued by Blues Farm Records. http://www.bluesfarm.webs.com. The album is available, May 10, 2008.

Mark Kelley is a trove of limitless jewels, such as the wrenching It Don't Make The Man, and She's Everything, an ode to Mark's Fiancée, Amy. The grumbling bass lines that drive one through the New Mexico anthem, Home, and the stomping country beat of I Don't Give A Damn, are testament to the blending of rich, diverse styles.

There are several songs just itching to reside on mp3 players, right between Dierks Bentley and Craig Morgan. Even the raucous honky-tonk sing-a-longs like What The Hell? instantly transport a listener to places with sawdust on the floor and live bands playing music.

Mark Kelley fans will whoop it up to hear the artist sing and play acoustic on the simple and poignant Long Way. The perfect debut for country music, the southwestern New Mexico sound, comes from the home of much great music, Clovis, NM. Since Buddy Holly and Leann Rimes made their mark there, and great artists such as Waylon Jennings and other country greats came to Clovis to make history, America has been waiting for this unlikely blend of south and Sansietch. It does make one wonder if these outlaw musicians have finally found their niche in country music forever.
