Mark Kelley was born and raised in Alabama and South Carolina. He tried his luck on the bull riding circuit and sure enough, it brought him to Clovis, New Mexico. The birthplace of some of music's biggest legends like Buddy Holly and Leann Rimes. Clovis is a tough town to get anything going, really. There aren't many clubs or even bars anymore. But Mark teamed up with the legendary Sansietch and soon found an instrumentalist, a producer, and a record label, Blues Farm Records. Mark put out his self-titled debut album in early 2008. Like most projects, it was a learning process. The CD was packed with songs that showed the songwriting ability of this newcomer. It was also loaded with incredible guitar playing. The CD has consistently sold well, and is currently available on Blues Farm Records. Mark established a heavy web presence from the start. Sharing his music on many artist and fan based sites. Mark has recently completed the recording of his second album entitled, 'Til I Get Home. The album once again has Sansietch performing. It already has two singles played on local Clovis radio KSEL 105.9, KSQL 99.1, and KKKK 100.00 in Muleshoe, TX. Drivin' Away is requested many times a day. Mark performs live several times a week both locally around Clovis, and regionally throughout AZ, TX, OK, and NM. Often Mark will perform two hour plus solo acoustic shows, but most often he's a three piece.
